AssassinTag
A real‑time multiplayer assassin chain in the physical world—track fuzzed location pings, hunt your quarry, and stay ahead of your pursuer.
iOS & iPadOS · Real‑time multiplayer (CloudKit)
Everyone is hunting. Everyone is hunted.
Each player gets a secret quarry to track, and a secret pursuer who’s tracking them. When someone is eliminated, the chain rewires and the chase continues—until one player remains or time expires.
How the game works
AssassinTag is a location‑based multiplayer game where you hunt a single target (your quarry) while someone else hunts you. The result is a living “chain” of assassins that constantly updates as players get eliminated.
Core gameplay
- Assassin chain — every player has a quarry and a pursuer, forming a loop.
- Fuzzed pings — see approximate map pings at configurable intervals without revealing exact positions.
- Tagging — players can self‑report with an “I Got Hit” button, or enable auto‑tag when within a configurable distance.
- Rewiring — when a player is eliminated, the killer inherits the victim’s quarry and the chain continues.
Match flow
- Lobby + share codes — create a party, share a code, and join fast.
- Onboarding — permission guidance for location and notifications.
- Countdown / scatter phase — optional pre‑game time to spread out before the hunt begins.
- Optional time limit — end the match when time expires or when one player remains.
Stats and results
- Survival time, tag counts, and elimination order.
- Results screen with winner and full player rankings.

Overview
is designed with your privacy as a priority. Real‑time games can be sensitive, so we keep privacy and control front‑and‑center.
Data Collection & Storage
We do not collect analytics, sell data, or embed advertising SDKs. Multiplayer synchronization uses Apple services (CloudKit) to coordinate parties and game state.
Location
Location is used to power gameplay features like map pings and auto‑tag distance checks. Pings are intentionally fuzzed so other players see an approximate area rather than your exact coordinates.
No Accounts Required
does not require user accounts, registration, email addresses, or personal information to function.
Data Deletion
You can leave parties at any time. Since data is stored using Apple’s standard mechanisms, deleting the app removes locally stored data from your device.
